On the May 26th in 2012, under the leadership of the professional teachers and counselors，all the 09th class students of tourism management arrived at the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal，expecting their six-day-trip of Xin Jian Zhen. The ship’s total tonnage is 14,543 tons. It is 156.69 meters long and 23 meters wide. Its design speed is 23 nautical miles and its service speed is 21nautical miles ,which is put into use in 1994. The current ships running on the China and Japan route, except some luxurious cruises, are intermediate vessels, as well as Xin Jian Zhen. It departs from the Shanghai Port on the 12:30 o’clock and arrives in Shenhu or Daban on the next Monday’s 9 o’clock, and the destination takes turns between Shenhu and Daban. Every Tuesday’s noon, it departures from Daban or Shenhu, and arrives in Shanghai in the noon of Thursday.
Listening to the report on the ship
In the evening of May 26th, by the host of Zhu Haiyu, all the students listened to the report addressed by the chief mate. He briefly introduced the hardware facilities and the arrangement of staffs of the ship, reminded the students of some important things and informed them of the itinerary. All the students were listening carefully.

In the dusk of May 26th, the students stepped onto the deck and enjoyed the wonderful sunset.
